Choose interests like history, art and architecture, music, sports, food, or folklore, and add anything else you care about in your own words. Everything Bearings finds gets weighed against what you picked, so what you hear is the part you'd have wanted to know.
On foot
Then just walk.
It follows along on the map and speaks when you're near something worth a story: the building, the street, the ground you happen to be standing on. Photographs come with it, so you can look at what you're hearing about when you want to.
Themes
Or see a city through one lens.
Pick a theme and the whole thing reshapes around it. A Beatles walk through London stops at the theatre where Beatlemania got its name. Bearings suggests themes that fit where you are, and takes any theme you type instead.
On the road
It keeps up at sixty miles an hour.
On a drive it looks further ahead and further out, so the story about the canyon arrives while you're still coming up on it. Think of it as the passenger who knows the area, the one who points out the window and tells you why that hill has a name.
